I have become a big of Finn’s game this offseason. The 6’1″ 265 lbs 2028 OL has the tools to be an impact player on the interior of the OL and he flexed them on Sunday. The big man’s game revolves around his size and the power loaded into it. That power comes from a strong lower body and outstandingly consistent use of leverage. Every 1 on 1 battle it seemed like he was right underneath his man’s chin with hands inside. As soon as he got there and locked his hands on it was over. He could stuff the DL from there or run them past the QB.

I was also impressed by how well he could move in short areas. Areas needed to thrive at OG. Finn had multiple reps where he didn’t just stuff the DL, he felt and reacted to counters and lateral movements right on time to stay square on his man. It was a strong showing for the Dodgeville product.

Finn is turning himself intro a real force in the trenches. The current left tackle for Dodgeville projects best as a guard at the next level. It is all I can think about when watching his tape. Finn is quick in tight quarters, gaining the body positioning advantage and then striking with impressively strong hands. Those hands flash on tape over and over. Both with his accurate strikes and how much force is behind them, usually sending DL or LBs quickly to the ground. The 2028 OL also has shown he can double team up to level two and effectively peel off to pick up the LB. Don’t sleep on this OL.

Finn locks down the LT position for Dodgeville, but he is built to dominate at the guard position when he gets to the next level. Finn is a powerful, physical, man-mover of an OL prospect. He is always loaded up for a powerful initial contact with DL and his heavy hands and powerful lower body are always enough to get the DL rolling backwards. Even his pass pro reps lean towards that of an IOL. He is able to win with his lateral agility to get out to guys and sets a strong anchor to prevent the pocket from collapsing.
