Lucas had an impressive freshman season, helping lead his team to a victory over Mead in the 3A championship game this past winter. Last season, he threw for 646 yads, 5 TDs, 4 INT, 55.1% completion rate, 93 carries for 381 yards and 6 touchdowns on the ground. Lucas has good athletic ability due to his good acceleration, speed, and change of direction. This allows him to have good scramble ability once the pocket collapses. He has a good release and good throw power. Lucas is decisive with his throws, going through his reads to find the open man. He has good touches on his ball. Very good ball placement skills, making it easy for his receiver to catch. He stays poised I’m very excited to see how he continues his growth, after a championship season.
