Ortiz has strong legs, which allow him to break weak tackles around his lower body. Has demonstrated his downhill rushing ability and isn’t afraid of contact, often lowering his shoulder and initiating contact when going 1-on-1 with a defender. He rushed for nearly 400 yards across 10 games during his freshman season, and his carries will only increase during his sophomore season.

Felix Ortiz Felix Ortiz Felix Ortiz 5'9" | 180 lbs | RB/LB North Bullitt | 2029 State KY played a key role in the North Bullitt rushing attack as a freshman, finishing the year with 66 carries for 393 yards and three touchdowns in 10 games. Ortiz is a strong downhill runner who has shown the ability to lower his shoulder and throw impressive stiff arms to break tackles with ease. He has also shown tremendous leg drive which he uses to drag defenders through contact to pick up extra yards. Ortiz also recorded 11 tackles on defense this past season. Felix will be a player worth keeping an eye on as he continues to develop over the next few years.
