The Rigby standout is the reigning 6A Player of The Year and is coming off a tremendous high school career. He was dominant on both sides of the ball and has a heavy inside punch, immediate knock-back abilities and gets underneath defenders with proper leverage and a consistent leg drive through contact. He shows he can pull across the LOS, get to the second level and moves extremely well and seems comfortable in the open field. He should find his home in college at either guard or possibly center, and offers a good floor at the next level with plenty of dominating playing experience at the highest level in Idaho.

What more can be said about Pouha, he showed why he was considered one of the best players in the state week in and week out. Strong at the point of attack able to play both sides of the football, leadership, toughness, and heart. He will go down as one of the best players to come out of Rigby and was voted as the 6A State Player of the Year.

A lot has been said about Pouha in the years since he has been a starter at Rigby but what continues to shine through is his leadership ability. He wasn’t voted as player of the year for no reason not only is he a great center and will anchor an offensive line but he will be able to run a locker room.

Pouha is an unbelievable player for Rigby, there is no question about that. What really separates him is his leadership. His ability to get his teammates to play to their full potential and get them to believe no matter what is happening during the game. He has been a multi-year starter for a reason but his ability to pull his team along is what makes him so special.

Pouha is a powerful lineman that really is able to move people off the football. He is the emotional leader for Rigby and a strong leader that keep everyone going. He has a strong punch and quickness that allows him to get to the next level of the defense.

Pouha checks into our rankings as a top 25 player cross in Idaho and he’s a true interior offensive lineman at the next level. The Rigby stand out plays with tremendous violence at the point of attack and snaps out of his stance while immediately creating inside hand placement and good leg drive and finish downfield. He is a very technically sound player that does a nice job of using his leverage, strength and heavy handset to immediately knocked defenders back and move the LOS forward. He also shows that he can pull in space, get to the second level with proper angles and is patient and moves extremely well laterally in pass protection. He has been under-recruited so far in his career, and should be able to find a home at the D3+ level in college on either side of the ball on the interior.

Pohua is one of the most powerful offensive lineman in the 2025 class. He hows powerful hands and a really strong lower body that allows him to absolutely destroy defenders on a down block. Quicker than many think with his ability to pull and really get up to the second level. He does a really good job on backside cut off and has a knack for finding angles while maintaining really good balance at the point of attack. He is one of the top interior offensive lineman in the state and should be on college radars soon.

Pohua is one of the top returning lineman in the state of idaho with his ability to be a true road grater. He has a solid base that allows him to use his lower body strength at the point of attack. He plays with excellent pad level and has really a really powerful first step. He has strong hands and good flexibility with his ability to really get off the ball quickly along with his knockback ability. A true interior offensive lineman with the ability to play guard or center at the next level
