Evan is a special athlete that could be a top tester at any camps he attends this summer while also being one of the younger athletes in attendance. The QB/DB made his mark playing all over the place for Madison West and impacted games because of his advanced development athletically. That is what I want to see this summer. I want to see the numbers he puts up, and I also want to see if he participates as a QB or if he goes with one of the other positions he could thrive at because of his size and athleticism. Not many underclassman have Evan’s size and can move like him. I hope to catch up with him this summer and watch it live.

This is my most anticipated QB, and maybe athlete, of the Madison area. Evan might be taking over the QB1 job for Madison West. I say “might” because Evan is outstanding athletic abilities that would allow him to play an assortment of different positions. I won’t be surprised to see West’s staff elect to have him at QB where he can effectively sling it around the field, but more importantly have the ball in his hands every play and offer that dual threat ability. There isn’t much to go off pass-wise with Evan at this point, but I can’t wait to potentially see him with the ball in his hands more often this fall.

Evan is one of the most fun athletes to watch in this Class. I believe he is in line to win QB1 for Madison West, but even if he doesn’t we are sure to see his special athleticism shining on Friday nights in a different position. Evan has speed to burn and he uses it to erase angles, get the edge on the defense and beat closing gaps for massive chunks of yards. The freshman is already so instinctive running with the football, finding blocks or making a defender miss 1 on 1. This is a playmaker wherever you put him on the field. I’m very excited to watch him continue to establish himself as one of the state’s top playmakers.
