Ethan is an offensive tackle that is starting to put it together. His 2025 film has quite a bit of variety. He was asked to execute down blocks, asked to kick out, asked to block in space and more, and he was up to the task. He’s a lean and long kid with the room on his frame to continue evolving in the weight room. He understands how to get leverage on defenders, get under their pads and completely remove them from the play. There aren’t a ton of passing reps in his film, but if he is able to pair what he does well with some solid passing reps, he could turn heads all spring long.

Generally speaking, it is rare to see a freshman lineman work as hard as Ethan.

Last season, Ethan put up some great JV tape. Great run blocking, and fits Howell’s scheme incredibly well. Since the end of the 2024 season, Ethan has attended several workouts, and he’s now in the midst of track season. Plus, he’s got straight A’s. Moving forward, I see that Ethan is set to camp at Texas A&M, Rice, Michigan, and Vanderbilt.

Time will tell just how good Ethan will be. Regardless of his ceiling, he’s doing everything right. I could easily see Ethan have a breakout (Varsity?) season. Considering his grades, I see Ethan playing college football at an academic powerhouse.

Good run-blocking tape at the JV level, and his game should translate well to the Varsity level. I especially like his first step, pad level, and drive. Against most high school defensive linemen, that’s all you really need to beat them. Moving onto the Varsity level, I’m confident that Ethan will succeed.

As for potential recruiting, it’s way too early to tell. I do not see Ethan as a Division 1 prospect right now, so his time to get recruited will probably come two years from now.
