About Ethan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My game play centers around being technically sound and intelligent with strong fundamentals, mobility, and a good football IQ. I rely on great footwork, hand placement, and leverage, with the ability to read defenses and adjust pre-snap. I enjoy getting after defenders and finishing blocks. I play through the whistle.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I lead by example with my work ethic, discipline, and commitment to improving every day. I’m highly coachable and always looking for ways to grow both on the field and in the classroom. While I naturally lead through my actions, I’m focused on developing my ability to be a more vocal leader for my team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership skills by leading through my actions and commitment to improvement, both on and off the field. Being elected and volunteering for leadership roles in our football team's offseason activities has helped me grow as a leader, pushing me to step up and be more vocal while supporting and motivating my teammates. I’ve also strengthened my teamwork and communication skill

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that challenges me both academically and athletically, where I can continue to develop as a football player and as a student. I want to be part of a program that values hard work, discipline, and team culture, with coaches who will push me to reach my full potential. A strong academic environment is also important to me.

Ethan is an offensive tackle that is starting to put it together. His 2025 film has quite a bit of variety. He was asked to execute down blocks, asked to kick out, asked to block in space and more, and he was up to the task. He’s a lean and long kid with the room on his frame to continue evolving in the weight room. He understands how to get leverage on defenders, get under their pads and completely remove them from the play. There aren’t a ton of passing reps in his film, but if he is able to pair what he does well with some solid passing reps, he could turn heads all spring long.
