Alex was a player that popped out all night for the Howell defense as he was a major reason that Howell was able to neutralize a very dangerous Brighton offense. Alex has very good instincts and was making plays all night around the line of scrimmage. I like Alex’s ability to drop into coverage and make plays on the ball or not give the Brighton Qb anything to throw through. But no play was bigger than Alex’s interception to secure the win for Howell with just under 2 minutes left when Alex read the eyes of the Brighton Qb got good depth and picked a pass off jumping a crossing route. Alex was very good all night and made a great play on senior night to secure a massive win in a very highly contested contest.
