About Ethan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My play style is fast, physical, and explosive, on the line I am ALWAYS the first off the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I believe that the key to a strong mind and a strong body is discipline. Both on and off the field. I take great pride in being in standing out from the crowd as I'm a Christian and believe that grit and humility is what takes good to great.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in student leadership at my School, I participate in our schools team shooting league in which I have been in the top 15 in the state for shooting scores, outside of school I also train at a boxing gym. I also teach and run the investing club at my school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Since I have gotten involved in student leadership at my school it has helped develop many lifelong skills and attributes such as leadership and selflessness. This has also taught me the importance of making sure that no one feels left out. On top of everything I do I work a sales job which has taught me adept social skills and the ability to meet the needs of many.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A few days into my 9th grade year I was informed I was switching high schools, I was devastated and tried to fight this because I had many friends at that school which only made it worse. Since it was a small Christian school I was different and didn't get along with my peers at first. I weighed 145 pounds, I am now 230 with countless friends and in student leadership.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that cares about it's students and has not just a good football team but more importantly a strong academic foundation.

Maxwell has emerged as a key player to watch this season. Known for his quick first step, he has the ability to explode off the line and penetrate the backfield in an instant. When he pins his ears back, QB’s beware. He is relentless in his pursuit and has a knack for bringing down the QB for a sack. His technique and strength allow him to shed blocks with ease, making him a disruptive force against the run. Whether it is blowing up a play in the backfield or stuffing the run at the line of scrimmage, Maxwell will be a stock-riser to know moving forward.
