About Ethan
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I'm a dual-threat quarterback with a quick release and efficient throwing mechanics who can extend plays outside the pocket when needed. With a 4.63 forty and 4.13 shuttle, I back up my ability to make plays with my legs and keep defenses honest. I have a high football IQ built through consistent film study, which helps me read defenses pre-snap and make fast, decisive decisions with the ball.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I'm a team-first, coachable leader who holds myself to a high standard on and off the field. I'm naturally sociable and fun to be around, which helps me build chemistry with teammates that translates on the field. I believe preparation wins games, so I put in the work in the film room, the weight room, and the classroom — where I carry a 4.78 weighted GPA — and I lead by example every step of the
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I'm in Young Men's Service League (YMSL), where I served as VP of Meetings in 2024-2025 and currently hold the Leadership Chair role. Through YMSL I've volunteered over 50 hours across ten different organizations. I'm also a volunteer at City Reach Church. Giving back is something I take seriously, and these roles have helped shape me into the leader I am both on and off the field.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Football has taught me leadership, accountability, and how to perform under pressure. Serving in leadership roles with YMSL has sharpened my communication and teamwork skills. And through volunteering, I've developed a genuine commitment to serving others and being a positive presence in my community.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of my 8th grade year — thankfully caught early and she is doing well, but it was a tough time. Then going into my freshman season I broke my elbow in our first scrimmage and missed the entire year. I leaned on my faith, stayed focused on my recovery, and those challenges ultimately made me stronger and more driven than ever.
What type of college are you looking for?
I'm looking for a college that challenges me academically while offering strong student involvement and a tight-knit campus community. A passionate fan base, top-tier facilities, and a school that's invested in the surrounding community are all things that are important to me.
