Opposing quarterbacks rarely looked his way, a testament to the respect he commands in coverage. With a lengthy, lean frame and a sprinter’s speed, Thompson glides across the field, effortlessly flipping his hips and staying in phase with receivers. He showed strong awareness in zone coverage, smoothly passing off routes and picking up threats with ease. A quiet but dominant performance from one of the weekend’s top defensive backs.
