Hugas checks in at 6’1 205, and already possesses the type of build that translates well to the kicking position. His leg strength was evident on film, particularly on kickoffs, where he was able to drive the ball into the end zone for touchbacks as a sophomore. That ability alone separates him from many high school specialists and gives him a high ceiling moving forward. While we weren’t able to evaluate his field goal and PAT work, the power he generates off his leg suggests there could be significant range in his game as he continues to develop.
