Simmons is one of the top rushers across the North Coast Section and one of the better small school players we have in northern California and is only a sophomore with still two years left in his prep career. He is a explosive runner that gets going quickly, has a quick burst and open field speed while showing he can separate, make tacklers miss in the hole and has good twitch and lateral quickness. He has been off to a hot start to the season and has rushed for nearly 500 yards and 9 touchdowns while having a very nice week 7 showing for the Eagles where he rushed for 157 yards and 3 touchdowns in a big league clash.
