A fearless player, Deifer is at his best when things break down. He’s not afraid to trust his arm against tight coverage, or to push the ball down the field, especially when he has to escape the pocket. He has good functional arm strength and the willingness to take chances as a passer, something I love to see from young quarterbacks.
