About Elan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Dual threat QB with the ability to extend plays, make quick reads, and push the ball downfield. Strong deep ball accuracy and able to make layered throws at every level of the field. Comfortable in and out of the pocket, creating plays with both my arm and legs.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a leader on and off the field who leads by example and brings energy to the people around me. As a big brother, I’ve learned responsibility, patience, and how to motivate others. I’m competitive, hardworking, and confident, but also outgoing and fun to be around with a strong personality.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved with my church and helping around in my church and the community

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Football has helped me develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and discipline. Playing quarterback has taught me how to lead others under pressure, stay confident, and hold myself accountable. I’ve also learned how important teamwork and trust are, both on and off the field. Outside of sports, being a big brother has helped me become more responsible and set a positive example for others

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I can grow as both a player and a person. Building strong relationships with coaches, teammates, and the community is important to me, not just football development. I want to be somewhere I fit best, can compete at a high level, and continue developing on and off the field

Elan has had an impressive career for Hibriten already, with another year to go. He’s got some good physical height at 6’1, and a good GPA at 3.6, giving him plenty of options to play college football once he makes a choice. This past season, he had over 3000 total yards, accounted for 34 touchdowns, and was named his conference’s offensive player of the year. Elan can make accurate throws from inside and outside the pocket and excels at making big throws down the field with a strong arm. Elan also has some dual-threat ability on the run, and he can take it the distance in the open field. His highlight film is a fun one to watch for sure.
