Ababio was already known as a really impressive DE/EDGE prospect and this season he has continued to have success off the edge. I think there has been a considerable improvement in his bend off the edge and his ability to turn the corner and finish the quarterback. He has some quality traits and is physically an intriguing developmental pass-rush prospect who shows violence in his hands. The ability to finish with more consistency is a quality step up from last season.

Ababio has a super high ceiling and the Mt. Vernon DE show natural strength + movement skills that will translate to the Division 1 level.
Not many DL with his size can run an 11.8 100m at nearly 260lbs and Ababio also has a near 500lb squat and some really intruiging flashes on tape.

Ababio was another new name to me, the Mt. Vernon defensive end has some impressive Junior Tape. Ababio plays the game with violence and a high motor, two really good traits for a defensive lineman. He can improve his hand usage by utilizing his length more and playing with better pad level, despite these two areas where he can show improve his physical play style and effort usually lead to him making plays. Ababio finishes plays hard and is a physical tackler, there are a lot of traits to really like here. Ababio is a player who from a scouting perspective has traits that can continue to be coached up. As a prospect his body type, athleticism, and effort make him a very intriguing prospect at the next level that can grow into a physically dominant player over time.
