McIntosh is one of the more interesting RB prospects i’ve evaluated in the 2027 class. He comes in around 6’2 180 and is built more like a receiver than an RB. However, his play style translates best to RB. He is patient, has quick enough feet to dance in running lanes, and is able to physically play tacklers. As he adds weight, which he has plenty of room to do so, he should continue to turn speed into power and blossom. There is plenty of tread on the tires here.

A new running back to keep an eye on in the 2027 class, McIntosh is a big back who runs really well for someone his size at 6-foot-2 185-pounds. He started his junior season off strong with a big week one performance against Islands, rushing 25 times for 253 yards and three touchdowns. He showed he can break off a big run and knows how to break tackles after initial contact. He averaged an impressive 10.1 yards per rush and was a consistent weapon out of the backfield all game long. He’s a small-town back with the potential to run through defenses on a weekly basis this fall. He’s also bound to see a new ranking come his way in the next Prep Redzone update.
