About Dylan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am fast, quick and light on my feet. Can read the field effectively,. Can make gains from the slightest gap. I am great on the run and the pass. I am strong and can carry 6 six guys on my back if I have too and take a hit. I have good feet, and good hips. I love to compete!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am dedicated to my craft. I am willing to grind and do what it takes to achieve for my team. I am mentally fierce and can handle adversity. I am a team player, unselfish, an encourager, and competitive.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in our church youth ministry.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned to to step up my role as an upper classmen on the field, in the weight room, and in school. I lead by example and encouragement, as well as set the tone for the expectations in the off season.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Losing my grandparents and biggest fans 5 years ago.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to go where I am seen. Not just a jersey number. I want it to feel like home. I want the coaches and players to care about one another and be down to earth and not look at the game necessarily as a business but a family. I want one that supports my religious beliefs and helps me become a better man.

Maasdam is a bigger back that will run over you if he doesn’t see a path around you. He shows good patience in allowing his blocks to set up and flows well with the play, as you can see on the first clip of his junior highlight video. On the second play, Maasdam lines up in the slot and makes an incredible one-handed catch in the corner of the end zone. He has enough wiggle to juke defenders and can outrun them when he gets in space. Maasdam rushed for 678 yards and eight touchdowns while splitting carries. He added 32 receptions for 320 yards and a score.
