Previously ranked No. 65 out of 200 prospects, Dylan LaGore Dylan LaGore 6'2" | 250 lbs | LB/DL Susquehannock | 2028 State PA now sits at No. 79 in a significantly expanded rankings pool while maintaining the same overall grade. At 6’2, 250 pounds, he remains the No. 7 defensive lineman in Pennsylvania’s 2028 class. LaGore currently holds an offer from Kent State and recently attended a Maryland camp, making him one of the more intriguing recruiting evaluations in this range. Programs such as Akron, Buffalo, and Temple should all have reason to monitor him closely moving forward. In my opinion, Power Four attention is the only thing separating him from moving substantially higher in future updates. The overall evaluation has remained stable despite the numerical drop in ranking. This ranking reflects where he currently stands within an increasingly deep class. Continued recruiting traction could easily push him back toward the upper portion of the rankings.

Class of 2028 defensive lineman Dylan LaGore Dylan LaGore 6'2" | 250 lbs | LB/DL Susquehannock | 2028 State PA from Susquehannock High School continues to make his presence known as a rising defensive prospect in the York-Adams area. The 6-foot-2, 250-pound defensive lineman brings a strong combination of size, power, and toughness to the field. LaGore consistently shows the ability to battle in the trenches while playing with strong effort and physicality. His aggressive approach and willingness to attack blockers make him a difficult matchup at the line of scrimmage. He also displays solid strength and leverage that allow him to impact both the run and passing game. Despite being a younger prospect, LaGore competes with maturity and confidence against older competition. As his technique and explosiveness continue to improve, his stock will continue trending upward. LaGore is quickly becoming one of the more intriguing defensive linemen in the Class of 2028.

Dylan LaFore showed some great ability last year as an edge defender and offensive tackle. As a Freshman, he showed how talented a player he is as he was able to play well against older players on Varsity. As an edge defender, he does a good job of exploding off the ball. He is a natural athlete who can fire off the ball and be disruptive against the defense. I love how he just launches through the body of an offensive lineman. Then, as an offensive tackle, he shows a good ability to move and block at a high level. He is good at pulling and kicking out defenders. LaGore was excellent last year, but he has a chance to be a force this year.

6’2, 225 pounds. 3.264 GPA. Solid leap from his previous rank. 42 tackles registered as a freshman at Susquehannock, 11 of which went for a loss, 4 sacks to boot.

Has an 11-minute freshman tape. I appreciate the display of production, yet I recommend LaGore cutting down this tape to 3-4 minutes of best plays. That being said, LaGore’s first rep on tape is a tone-setting one. The 225-pound backer shows off fantastic tackling form and buries a back in the backfield with authority. Not common seeing a freshman show off this type of violence to his game. Can operate with his hand off the dirt in a 2-4-5 front. Ranked as a LB despite substantial OL tape on Hudl. At 6’2, 225 pounds, I can’t project him to OL at this time. TE and LB are obvious options, yet LaGore’s prowess at backer excites me most.+

He is not afraid to hit someone and hit someone hard. At the defensive line, he shows off good strength as he fires off the ball and does an excellent job of getting into the offensive backfield by bull-rushing offensive lineman. He is also a good athlete who moves well as he shows off his speed when he rushes the quarterback. As an offensive tackle, he shows that same athleticism, and he excels at pulling and blocking defenders on the edge. LaGore is an excellent athlete that has the potential for big things for the rest of his high school career.
