The Hillbillies’ defense forced 8 turnovers in the 13-7 defensive struggle with Baisden earning one of them on an interception. He also totaled 15 tackles in the game and sacked the Wildcats’ quarterbacks twice in a hard-fought week one victory. Baisden also led Man in rushing with 39 hard-earned yards during the game. The two-way player showed tremendous effort on film on both sides of the ball with good pursuit speed to the ball. Even as an undersized linebacker, Baisden was stout when playing near the line of scrimmage and made plays in space in the run and passing game.
