Urbanek finished 2025 with 68.5 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, a forced fumble, 2 fumble recoveries, 8 passes defended, and an interception. Urbanek has proven versatile, being able to plug up the run as a box defender and being able to cover the middle of the field, showing great timing and closedown speed to limit space for tight windows over the air and minimizing carries for RBs who break through the first line of defense. Urbanek may show a stronger skill-set at Safety, though as the team’s starting QB and primary Kicking specialist, Urbanek should remain to be the Panthers’ X-Factor for the 2026 season.

Urbanek should continue developing himself behind center with the potential he shows as a dual-threat signal caller at the eight-player level. That said, his speed and elusiveness would work at other spots if he ended up moving off the position. Urbanek commands the offense and makes quick decisions. He can get the ball down the field and is accurate on throws on different levels. Urbanek keeps defenses honest by threatening to tuck the ball and run. He’s not easy to catch or corral as he shows on his sophomore highlight video.
