About Drew

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a very physical player in both football and lacrosse. Doesn't matter if I have the ball or if I'm defending, I like to deliver the hit.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am quietly very competitive and I don't like losing. I don't have to be the best, I'm a very good teammate and team player, and will support my teammates no matter what. I work very hard in school, I have dyslexia and dysgraphia, but I have not let that stop me from getting close to straight A's.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

At CC HS I was part of PCLA, which was a leadership club. I am involved in True OR Lacrosse and True West Lacrosse. I was invited to play True National White Lacrosse last year but chose to stay with the regional team for one more year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

At my previous HS we were required to participate in service hours. I find that I enjoy doing that to some degree. I was also involved in the HS leadership group, PCLA. As a Freshman I was team captain on our football team. As a rising junior I have been a leader on my travel club lacrosse team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Dyslexia and dysgraphia are learning challenges that I face. I have learned to learn around it but I do struggle with spelling because I still spell words like they sound.

What type of college are you looking for?

West of the Mississippi, D3, D2 type school with smaller class rooms where I can get support if I need it.
