Drew is making a serious case as one of the edge rushers to watch in the 2028 class. With 49 total tackles, 26.5 tackles for loss, 12 sacks (7th in Texas), and three forced fumbles, he’s been giving opposing offensive lines plenty of problems. What catches my attention about Drew is how he attacks blockers with a purpose. He has a quick first step that allows him to get upfield before tackles can get comfortable in their pass sets. He does a nice job using his hands to fight off contact, and when he gets an opening, he has the closing burst to get to the quarterback. Drew is also a problem against the run, showing the ability to shoot gaps, get into the backfield, and bring down ball carriers before they can reach the line of scrimmage.
