About Drew

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Fast, instinctive safety who locks down receivers with elite coverage, reads routes before they develop, and reacts quickly to break on the ball; always hungry to learn with film study, trainings with position coaches to continue perfecting my craft and bring physicality; and consistently looking for the pick to turn anticipation into game‑changing turnovers; I'm a team player.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I describe myself as a versatile S/LB/TE and a dedicated student of the game. I train year-round with elite coaches to master my craft and football IQ. On the field, I maintain a 'one-play' focus while anticipating the opponent’s next move. I am a team-first athlete who thrives on feedback and immediate implementation to help us compete.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

As a Varsity Orchestra player, I earned All-Region Symphonic honors two years in a row and maintain A Honor Roll while taking all advanced classes.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I play with a 'next play' mentality, staying locked in to anticipate the opponent's move before the snap. My work ethic is about mastering the game, not just playing it, which is why I’m always training with elite coaches. As a leader, I’m dedicated to uplifting my teammates because no one is bigger than the team. I use every piece of feedback from coaches to get better on every rep.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Losing my grandad and best friend 3 years ago was a challenge as he was my thought partner, father figure, a big fan, and person I shared everything with. I've had to learn to navigate life without a pivotal and impactful person to me and still have the will-power to keep going as I miss the guidance he brought me after every event. He's my motivatio to achieve ALL things and continue his legacy.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a program that values discipline, culture, and high-level competition. My goal is to find a college that will challenge me both as a student of the game and in the classroom. I want to play for a coaching staff that demands the best from their players, where I can continue working on my craft and aid in my teammates' success on the field.

Drew was fluid and controlled during individual drills, showing sharp footwork, quick reactions, and smooth movement throughout every rep. What really stood out was how he took the techniques and adjustments he learned in those drills and applied them directly during skelly, turning practice into game-like execution. His ability to translate drills into live play highlighted his instincts, awareness, and athleticism, making him a DB to watch moving forward.
