Dre’Keim Abercrombie is a very good edge player. He plays within his frame, takes great pursuit angles and wraps up. He has great acceleration to the ball, good closing speed, takes on the double team effectively and flashes a very good spin move. I love Abercrombie’s effort, motor and hustle. He has very good edge speed and very good use of hands, very active feet and hands and hard to neutralize. Finished last season with 13 sacks for East Liverpool.

Dre’Keim is a stud. He plays both ways, lining up on the edge and also as a pass catcher out wide. He’s an incredible athlete who is very quick for his size. He’s strong and has a powerful upper body to shrug off tacklers. He has a great get-off and can overwhelm linemen with his athleticism. He’s got several ways to win as a pass rusher and is a versatile piece in the run game. He can play as a contain man on the edge, or he can drop off the line to spy a quarterback on passing downs. Dre’Keim is an enjoyable watch on film.

Abercrombie is an athletic two-way player for East Liverpool. On offense he plays tight end. Where he shines though is on defense where he plays rush end. He has a strong get-off and can win the edge with speed. He has other tools in his bag as he has a strong swim move and active hands. Once he’s beat his blocker, he’s explosive and has the speed to get to the qb in a hurry. He has good change of direction skills and the ability to chase and run down in pursuit.
