Donovan Underwood Donovan Underwood 6'0" | 165 lbs | WR/DB Loudon | 2029 TN had a promising freshman season, then decided to transfer in the offseason. Since making the move to Loudon High School, he’s been impressive. In three games, he’s caught 11 passes for 256 yards with a touchdown.

He’s a young 2029 prospect, but has excellent size for his age. The wideout stands 6-foot and weighs 165 pounds. Underwood is a long, athletic player with the ability to be a true outside receiver at the FBS level. I love his athleticism, as it allows coaches to get creative with him.

But when you combine that with his size, it makes for a dangerous skill set. He must gain weight to fill out his frame, but the length is already there. Underwood has strong hands, is a speedy guy, runs crisp routes, gets off the snap well and fights to create separation.

While certainly the smallest of the other Wide Receivers on Team Fire, Underwood was also arguably the quickest. Moved very well during routes on air. Underwood also looked sharp throughout the individual period of practice–specifically in cone drills. I didn’t see a false step off the line and there was hardly any wasted movement while going through the cones. His feet and arms pumped in rhythm and looked liked pistons when getting into his breaks.
