Salesian quarterback Donovan Shirley announced his commitment to Sacramento State on Saturday.

Shirley threw for 1706 yards with 17 touchdowns for Fairfax last season and has since transferred to Salesian.

He was a top quarterback in the Accuracy Challenge at the Elite 11 Regional in March and also had offers from Arkansas and Bowling Green among others. Shirley is the third quarterback in Sacramento State’s 2026 recruiting class.
