About Donovan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

aggressive and disciplined I focus on setting a strong anchor in pass protection and driving defenders off the ball in the run game. I rely on technique, quick feet, and awareness to neutralize edge rushers and protect the quarterback.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Hungry, disciplined, and locked in — I’m chasing a D1 spot with everything I’ve got. I stay coachable, outwork the competition, and stay focused on the long-term goal every single day, on and off the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve worked to reach my goals, I’ve developed a strong sense of leadership, especially by helping younger teammates improve and pushing them to stay focused. I’ve learned how to be a team player, putting the group first and understanding that success is built on everyone doing their part. I also take pride in community service, whether it’s volunteering at local events

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

the journey to D1 has come with its fair share of obstacles. One of the biggest challenges has been balancing academics, training, and personal life. There have been days when I felt like I was giving everything to the grind, but the results weren’t showing right away. Another hurdle has been dealing with injuries that pushed me to stay mentally tough and resilient.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m lookin for any program that challenges me both athletically and academically. I want to be at a school with a strong football culture, where the coaches push me to be my best every day, and where the team is like a second family. At the same time, I want a school that values education just as much, where I can pursue my degree and build a future after football.
