2028 Keyser RB Dominik Crawford adds even more talent to an already loaded 2028 group heading into the WV Exposure Series. Keyser has used him in a hybrid role over the past two seasons, and that versatility should become especially noticeable once the 1-on-1s begin. Crawford brings legitimate receiving ability out of the backfield, which can create matchup problems against defenders trying to handle him in space. There’s already plenty to like about the skill set, but this camp allows him to separate himself even more against a strong RB group. If Crawford performs the way he’s capable of, he could push himself near the top of the position by the end of the day.

As a sophomore, he showed his versatility, contributing at receiver and defensive back while handling spot duty in the backfield, which only adds to his overall profile. Now, with Keyser graduating its top rusher, the backfield reps are there for the taking. This offseason will be about locking into that role, continuing to build strength, and proving he can handle a consistent workload. If he does, Crawford has the tools to move from intriguing underclassman to one of the more talked-about running backs in the 2028 group.

Physically, he doesn’t look like most freshmen at his position and has athletic traits as well that he can build on over the next three years. He has a natural feel as a pass catcher out of the backfield as well and is naturally gifted athletically, which will pay dividends for his future development.

He’s a well-put-together athlete for his age and doesn’t look like a freshman physically. Crawford is a versatile running back who can run between and outside of the tackles and is also a threat in the passing game out of the backfield or lining up as a receiver. He’s a balanced physical runner with the speed to hit chunk plays based on the limited film available of him. Even with only a handful of clips to evaluate, Crawford will certainly be a 2028 RB to know and will be in the mix at the top of the running back rankings for years to come.
