is the ultimate Swiss army knife that can lineup all across the DL with some LB versatility. He plays like a missile, flying around the field with superb hustle. Good quick twitch and overall athletic ability, White is an amazing play maker on multiple levels of defense. Against the pass, he shows good pass rushing ability using shoulder dips to reduce surface area and has some ability to drop in coverage. He shows very good awareness vs the run and processes run concepts at a high level.

Scouting Report: During last year’s championship run, the Red Raiders had one of the best defense’s in the state and a big factor in that cause was the play of White. His presence on the edge was undeniable with how well he did at stopping the run while also providing the occasional pass rush. White was used in a variety of ways last year off the edge due to his versatility and technique sound play but also because the guy’s motor never slows down. This Baylor defender plays very hard, showing on film a hard nosed playing style along with the range to make plays outside the hash. He does a good job at disrupting plays up field but can also stretch things out, making plays towards the sidelines, so his versatility should be a strong trait when it comes to his recruitment. Looking through his junior highlights, White shows a unique feel for the game as he diagnoses the field well and tends to put himself in the right position on a consistent basis to make plays on the ball. His football intelligence stands out big time as he knows how to use his hands, change direction and put the ball carrier down with proper technique. He can also get after the quarterback as well as White shows nice bend and the ability to get low while maintaining his balance, chasing down the ball. One thing that may keep some coaches away from White is his overall size. He stands only 6’1, so he isn’t the tallest but he more than makes up for that with his motor and consistent game play. White is also well built physically, meaning he can take on the physicality while delivering his own punishment. His value for the 3-4 defense sits quite high with me as he can be utilized in multiple ways and bring that kind of tone setting consistent, hard nosed playing style that rubs off on his teammates.College Projection: FCS, D2
