Dom has had a very strong season for Appo this year, racking up just shy of 500 receiving yards and 5 TDs. Making first team all district and being a consistent reliable option all year long. Dom has good burst after the catch, able to split defense and get upfield. He’s got excellent hands. Able to go up and snatch the ball out of the air and make tough catches. A smooth, crisp route runner as well, Dom also finds the open space in the defense to give his QB an easy target.
During these playoffs defenses will certainly have a focus on stopping Oklahoma commit Jahsiear Rogers, and that’s why Dom is the important piece. He needs to continue to be that strong other option in Appo’s offense. He should be able to have big games and make big plays if teams under estimate Dom’s playmaking ability these playoffs.
