Alahverdian has been a major surprise, leading Section XI at quarterback. Heading into the remaining weeks of the regular season, he leads his peers in major statistical categories.

Alahverdian is coming off another impressive performance, this time in a losing effort. He completed 33-of-42 passes for 230 yards against William Floyd and was the main reason Whitman stayed in the game.

The senior quarterback is dangerous on the run, and he showcased how he can create big plays with his legs to buy time for his receivers. Although he may throw some risky passes, he hasn’t been burned by his decision-making and continues his streak of accuracy.

With a Musketeer defense that allowed 45 points last week, Alahverdian could have a special outing to establish himself as Suffolk County’s best quarterback.
