(TE, West Carteret, Senior) has elevated his game to another level over the last three weeks, putting up video-game numbers from the tight end position. His production has skyrocketed with receiving totals of 129 yards, 166 yards, and a career-high 225 yards in consecutive games — a remarkable stretch for any pass catcher, let alone a tight end. Murray has also found the end zone consistently, scoring 7 touchdowns on the year, and has become the centerpiece of West Carteret’s passing attack. His size, hands, and ability to stretch the field make him a matchup nightmare, and his surge firmly places him among the top mid-season Player of the Year candidates on offense.

(TE, West Carteret, Senior) delivered one of the best games of his career, and his team needed every bit of it in a nail-biting 26-25 victory. Murray was the go-to weapon in the passing attack, hauling in 10 receptions for 225 yards and a touchdown, stretching the field and keeping the offense alive in critical moments. His size, hands, and ability to create mismatches made him unstoppable, and this performance not only fueled a hard-fought win but also highlighted just how valuable he is to West Carteret’s offense.

The only key returner from a 2,800-yard receiving corps last season, Murray could put up huge numbers this season. He’s a guy we’ve seen in camp and really like as a tight end/receiver hybrid. We’ve heard good things about his progression this offseason and he should be the top target in a pass-heavy offense. Expect a big year from him and if he is bigger and faster, he’s likely to move up the rankings.

D’Jabrien has a nice physical frame and some good traits about him overall. D’Jabrien had a productive season with 40 catches for 542 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns which are some nice numbers here. D’Jabrien is definitely a reliable receiver – he shows some strong hands catching the football on a variety of short routes – arrows, drags, and outs. D’Jabrien also shows some good speed after the catch as well. As a blocker, D’Jabrien shows the effort and technique to be successful on film. If he improves his overall speed this offseason, I think D’Jabrien can be a recruiting steal for a school out here.
