About DJ

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a dual threat quarterback who uses my speed and athleticism to extend and make plays. I have the arm talent to make difficult throws into tight spaces and allow my teammates to make plays. I am comfortable in the pocket as well as on the run.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a competitor who works hard to become a better athlete, teammate and student. I have a strong faith that drives me to be the person I am. I have a team first mentality and will do whatever it takes to make my team and teammates successful.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am an active member of the National Honors Society as well (S.A.I.L) Student Athletes In Leadership, and The Parvis Scholar Society (Academic organization for high GPA students). I am also the President of the United Saints, a school organization that promotes equality and inclusion in the school. 2025 First Team All Conference (MIAA-A) selection 2025 Second Team All County Offense selection

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership skills that have helped me be a better student, teammate and member of the community. I was named to the Leadership Council as well a Team Captain for several games for the football team this past season. As a member of the Leadership Council, I served as student/player leader for the team and offered guidance and assistance to the coaches and my teammates.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for colleges that offer a high level of academics and a positive environment and culture for its student athletes so they can be successful.

DJ Hitaffer DJ Hitaffer DJ Hitaffer 5'10" | 165 lbs | QB/ATH St. Mary's | 2027 State MD put together a season that firmly established him as one of the top quarterbacks in the MIAA, earning First Team All-MIAA honors through efficiency, toughness, and poise. His game is built on quick decision-making and a compact, rapid release that consistently leaves defenders swiping at air and arriving a step too late.

On film, Hitaffer shows the ability to deliver accurate throws under pressure, standing tall in the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield. When lanes open, he’s equally dangerous with his legs.

He capped the season with 1,270 total yards and 12 total touchdowns, numbers that reflect both his efficiency and his impact in critical moments. Hitaffer’s blend of quick processing, accuracy, and physical competitiveness makes him a difficult matchup and a quarterback who consistently elevates the offense around him.
