Cruver showed fantastic poise in the pocket and only rolled out or scrambled when necessary. Cruver showed his maturity by keeping his eyes downfield after going through multiple progressions. He puts a lot of zip on his throws that help put the ball on a tightrope accurately to his receiver. He also has a strong arm, which he put on display several times on deep throws over the middle and down the seams.
