About Devon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Aggresive yet smooth running the ball. Very quick feet and fast break away speed. Love learning to be a better player, teammate and person. Very hard worker and train on a consistant schedule.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a calm demeanor but with a fire to be better and to help make my team better. Very disciplined and well mannered.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was a part of Agriculture this past year in 8th grade. Going into high school i plan on being a part of several organizations to better myself. Looking forward to high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have come to appreciate the work it takes to get better, learn and grow within the sport, community and within myself. I have been able, as a young athlete, to help other younger athletes in our football camp this year. I also push my teammates to work and learn to their best abilites. As I come into high school as a freshman I expect big things from myself.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

To be honest last year (2022-2023) season in 7th grade was my 1st year in football. As such I had a lot to learn and overcome. I started out on the "A" team and after our 1st game was on the "B" team. I had to overcome that situation and make the best of it which I did and become the starting RB and from there I really took off. Worked hard and started on the "A" team my 8th grade year.

What type of college are you looking for?

Great educational program is a must and an athletic program where I can grow and continue to learn to be a better person.
