Burgess can line up in a variety of positions for the Warriors but is best as a scatback and slot corner. He’s undersized but has some juice as an offensive playmaker with the ball in the open field. Burgess has quality speed and quickness and is elusive in space. He can change direction on offense and can cover ground quickly as well with solid closing speed on receivers when on defense. Burgess is a quality open-field tackler for his size and plays the run well too. He’s very under-the-radar but can provide value to small colleges on either side of the ball.
