. Silvas is another transfer who comes to the Huskies from St. Albans and should help solidify their running back and linebacker positions. He’s a big athlete who moves well for his size and had strong testing numbers at our camp with a 4.87 40, 4.44 pro shuttle, and 7.38 L Drill in rainy conditions.
Without much game film, we’re anticipating Silvas to have a breakout year for his new team and show us why we consider him a Top 150 player in the 2026 class with he potential to climb higher once we’re able to evaluate more film.

opened our eyes with some quality testing numbers for a young athlete his size. We have him listed as a LB on our Watch List, but Silvas worked out at running back during the Combine and performed well at that position. His 4.87 40, 4.44 pro shuttle, and 7.38 L Drill numbers were indicative of the quality athleticism he has for an athlete his size and age. Silvas is quicker than he is fast which is backed up by his shuttle and L Drill times and should be a great power-back option for the Huskies this season after coming over from St. Albans.
We’ll need more film from him before entering him into the 2026 rankings, but Silvas showed he’s worthy of being placed among the best in his class.

Devin Silvas will be making the move from St. Albans to Herbert Hoover for the next two years to help bolster their RB and LB group. We like Silvas the most as a linebacker prospect right now with his 6’0 180 size, but we like that he has a running back background with athleticism that’ll translate to linebacker. Silvas is a big, physical athlete who can run and move well for his size and age, and we’ll want to see that on display at the combine. Our question for him to answer at the event is can he confirm that athleticism in the testing portion of the camp, and can he perform in pass coverage in 1-on-1s if he elects to get linebacker reps?
