Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A lean, lanky receiver with big-time burst and acceleration, Hamilton is still one of the more underrated wideouts across the state in the 2026 class. However, this week Hamilton landed an offer from Colorado State. He’s a guy who can help stretch the field while having enough speed to beat defensive backs vertically. He’s one of the top returning receivers in the region with a chance to have an outstanding final season in 2025.

A fast-rising junior who had a breakout 2024 season, Hamilton is a long, athletic pass-catcher who showed he can win most of his jump balls and make big plays down the field. He tracks the ball well and knows how to snatch it in the air over smaller defenders. He brings reliable hands, above-average speed, and a promising 6-foot-3 180-pound frame. One of the top receivers in the area, Hamilton should see his recruitment start to pick up over the next several months as more watch his tape. He’s now ranked as the No. 14 WR and the No. 104 overall prospect in the state.

Yet another big-bodied pass catcher, Devin Hamilton Devin Hamilton 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR Mill Creek | 2026 State GA reps CCL powerhouse Marist and is the biggest and some would say baddest WR in the early crop of 2026 pass catchers. Running in the non-varsity ranks with the Redhawks, Hamilton possesses great length, long strides, and some eye-popping vertical ability that helps him leap and float through the air to high-point footballs and come down with athletic catches. He was a beast of an X receiver that could outpace DBs as well as defenders on special teams when he gets to open up those long strides, and I like his big catch radius and balance to boot. The athleticism/size/age combination is very exciting, and with the coaching and development that goes on at the Southside CCL heavyweight, I know for a fact that Marist’s coaching staff will get the most out of his budding and impressive talent. Hamilton has a very strong chance of climbing high up these rankings come the next update and his skillset is one of the most promising in the class of 2026ers.
