On Friday nights, upset over Exeter Township, he made a huge difference in the game with his throwing ability. He threw for 265 yards and 3 touchdowns. He is now the 2nd-best passer in the Lancaster-Lebanon league with 1,571 yards. He deserves a game ball for his performance this week and the season as a whole.

STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Improv skills, middle of the field accuracy

A ton of next-level throws completed over the middle of the field. Great accuracy when testing digs, slants, seams, and crossers. Mechanics need some cleaning up. Good improviser too, Katch was witnessed moving his launch point to create passing lanes that wouldn’t have revealed themselves without the extension of plays. A bit small for the position, yet provided a solid junior tape as the man behind center for Hempfield. A deeper eval will come post-rankings drop.

He threw for 295 yards and 3 touchdowns in the 42-18 win over Reading. Katch is a good quarterback who does a nice job of throwing the ball inside the pocket. He also is a good athlete that moves well inside and outside of the pocket.
