About Deontae

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a hard worker on both sides of the ball and when I make mistakes I make them at 1000 mph and keep my head up after the bad play

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I never quit and keep working for my goals and my future I’m a kind person and love to help others in need

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I run track as a second sport for speed work to help me explode off of the line

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ll be team captain next year for my football team which is exciting because I love leading and I’ll love helping my team as much as possible next year

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Sophmore year I started getting lots of injuries which hurt me not only physically but mentally but thankful I was able to over come the injuries and better myself mentally to make myself a dog at football

What type of college are you looking for?

I’d love to go to any college that has a football team. However d1 would be nice id play at any level to just continue to play so my football career doesn’t end at highschool

While he has a slightly smaller frame than ideal for the position, his coordination and body control are excellent, allowing him to make difficult catches look easy. Rickmon’s ability to adjust and track passes in the air shows his strong fundamentals and playmaking ability. With his impressive athleticism, combined with a solid GPA, Rickmon has the potential to play at the next level and could earn opportunities at various college programs.
