Foster is a very technically sound free safety with natural ball skills, range and open field speed to cover the entire back end. He collapses quickly when closing in the box and making tackles near the line and is a very physical prospect in man coverage. He shows elite range when making plays on the ball and has natural hands with return abilities in open space and is a tremendous overall athlete. He is a high IQ player that reads route concepts and pre-snap motion quickly while seemingly always in the right spot up-field. The San Leandro product should have a huge Junior season and is one of the Bay Areas best.

Foster is a young safety who at one point at two consecutive interceptions during the 7-on-7 period. He can jump and knows how to go up to get the deep passes in cover 2.
