, from Jim Hanks, is the perfect fit. Hanks was impressive throughout the Exposure Series Camp, consistently showcasing toughness, balance, and explosiveness in every phase of competition. He displayed great hands out of the backfield along with a violent first step that allowed him to accelerate quickly through lanes and create separation in space. Dean showed at camp that he’s more than just a traditional running back, flashing clear versatility as a player who can line up in multiple spots and impact the game in different ways. He moved comfortably out of the backfield and also spent time in the slot, where he looked natural catching the ball and working in space.
In one-on-one and competitive periods, Dean displayed soft, reliable hands and the ability to track the ball cleanly while moving. Out of the backfield, he showed good awareness as a receiver, quickly transitioning from catch to run without wasted motion. In space, he looked comfortable making simple decisions and staying productive after the catch.

Deucher also performed well during the passing portion of camp, winning reps in one-on-one situations and showing versatility as a receiving threat out of the backfield. His junior production was outstanding, rushing for 1,621 yards and 14 touchdowns while adding three receiving touchdowns.
The honors piled up for Deucher last season. He was a First Team All-District selection, Offensive MVP, and he received Second Team All-City recognition. He currently holds an offer from McPherson College and continues to establish himself as one of the more productive running backs in West Texas.
