About Deacon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Very precise and quick. I like to read defenses as much as possible and use my brain as much as my athleticism. I also like to be accurate and time precise on every throw. I like moving in the pocket and giving myself time to read defenses more than just escaping and running.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I like to bring energy to the team and keep players motivated. I like to think confidently knowing I am prepared and worked for moments like in games

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Me and other teammates go to homeless shelters and making lunches and dinners for nights. I am a team captain and like to make my teammates enjoy football as much as possible.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Injuries. Last winter I had shoulder surgery and missed many combines and showcases I was invited to.

What type of college are you looking for?

A big school with high competition and skill. I want to push myself to be able to be at the top

Deacon had offseason surgery, which slowed his offseason, but from the early offseason when I’ve seen him at combine events to private training sessions with 3DQB, to the College camps, he’s improved every time I’ve seen him. His mechanics are much tighter, and he takes coaching to heart, honing his craft. He throws a good deep ball, and his velocity has seen an uptick. He’s a player who will only get better with more reps; he’s a player to keep tabs on. He has prototypical size and has a frame that can put on 30+ lbs.
