One of the top East Tennessee offensive prospects from our #TN2027 class, Cooper capped off his stellar junior season by taking home “Mr. Football” honors for the 1A classification. The Pirates playmaker took home this award after producing more than 1,200 offensive yards this Fall along with 17 touchdowns. If the Pirates offense or team as a whole needed a big play to happen, Cooper was usually the guy. He showed off his game changing abilities last week as a key piece in his team’s Class 1A championship win. Being that Cooper is a junior, look for him to be considered a top Mr. Football candidate to repeat next season.
