Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
One of the more productive running backs across the state last season, the small-town back out of Jackson County deserves a giant jump in the latest rankings after a monster junior season in 2025. The max-effort, tackle-breaking back is one of the fastest backs in the area who also runs with authority. He can fly past defenders in the open field one carry and then run through two more defenders on another carry. He was tough to tackle all season long and ended his junior season with 1,888 yards and 26 touchdowns, averaging an impressive 7.8 yards per carry along the way. He ran for at least 100 yards in 10 games and scored multiple touchdowns in nine games. Now, he’ll be ranked inside the top-100 in the next 2027 rankings update.
