Heimbaugh is an interesting prospect with upside. He enjoyed a successful junior season at Indianola in 2025, rushing for 717 yards (6.0 YPC) and five touchdowns. He completed his only pass and caught seven balls. Heimbaugh returned punts and averaged 35.3 yards on 19 punts. The array of contributions speak to his athleticism and versatility. We can see that when watching his 11th-grade highlight video. Heimbaugh displays a good feel for the running back position. He gets downhill quick and makes fast decisions between the tackles. Burst gets him through the creases and there’s another gear in the open field. Heimbaugh finishes runs well. His skills would work on defense, too.
