About Davis

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Hungry and scrappy. As QB, I make plays happen no matter what. Ad OLB, I make plays happen that get us the ball back. I hit and hit hard and on both sides when necessary. And do what it takes and then some, every single day.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I work hard and put in all of the extra work that I can. I am hungry. To be playing and starting on both sides of the ball at a highly competitive 7A school and punting as well, I am all in on wherever they need me at any given time.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am active in my cell group and with my volunteer organizations. I also play on a travel 7 v 7 team - Southwest 7. I have also been selected as student of the month.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was voted by the most elite group, my peers, to be Team Captain for our team. This was an honor and a job that I did not take lightly. I lead a skills group and a workout group in our off-time as well. And we volunteer together also. The coaches know to reach out when they need anything and rally the troops to fill a need in the community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

This season, I was faced with the starting QB a year ahead of me, re-classing and coming back on top of me. Day 1 of practice he already had the starting QB spot, and they wanted me to start on defense and use me for only select plays. This was hard, and my team was mad. I lost without losing it, but put my head down, worked hard, and rallied behind our QB1. Did that and more when asked.

What type of college are you looking for?

One that offers me the best opportunities academically and that is competitive on the football field. And one that most successfully utilizes my unique skillset within their roster and playbooks.
