One of the more underrated PCL prospects, regardless of position or class. One of the better performers at our most recent PRZ camp, I came away proud seeing Spinelli step up against some elite WR talent at our event. His performance left a lasting impression on me. This is meaningful considering I already thought highly of Spinelli beforehand. I’ve had extensive looks at his game up close for what seems like years now. He proved to me that he deserves to be recruited in his current form.
5’11, 170 pounds. 3.6 GPA. All-Catholic Accolades to his name. Is a comfortable pass-catcher, an experienced one too, yet I’d label him a DB first. Two INTs last Fall, several PBUs, six scores to his name along with several tackles registered. Versatility is Spinelli’s calling card. Opposing game planners with ABR on schedule are going to have to expect pretty much anything and everything surrounding Spinelli. Can be trusted to align creatively on defense, yet he’s most comfortable with his eyes in the backfield. A fantastic DB who could very well lead the Raiders in receiving yards when the season’s over. A tough football player who only provides winning reps. Tougher than his build suggests, this reveals itself when coming down to support the run or set the edge, as well as when he finishes runs after the catch. If I were a betting man, I’d bet that Spinelli’s ranking further elevates after this Fall season is over.

David was another defensive back that gained traction as the day progressed. Shining once the live drills kicked off against the wide receivers, David showed he is a true competitor and never backs down from a battle. With a classic safety build, David proved himself to be a reliable last line of defense, shutting down receivers in open space and making it tough for QBs to have success downfield.
David is a gritty, aggressive player that brought a physical edge to the defensive back group. If the pads were on and full contact was allowed, he might have walked away with MVP honors. One of the day’s highlights was his impressive interception where he high pointed the ball and came down with it on his back, maintaining control for a big time catch.

. I’d argue that much of what Spinelli provides, Morgan does as well. Similar skill sets, similar builds, experience being the reason why Morgan gets the load in terms of targets. Spinelli is equally talented. Spinelli is in this wideout piece, yet it’s worth mentioning his prowess on the defensive side of the football. Spinelli caught a touchdown against Bonner in Week 2, he’s also reeled in nine passes in just two games. Spinelli wasn’t targeted much in the season opener against Father Judge, yet I have to emphasize his two-way capabilities again. Watch for Spinelli to build on his two-week foundation. Said foundation has Spinelli averaging 5 receptions for about 50 yards, is 3 yards shy of hitting the 100-yard mark on the year.

looks to be a player in the Archbishop Ryan offense early on in his career. His hands, size, and change of direction ability should be suitable for him to eat in the short to intermediate areas of the field. He got reps against Father Judge this past weekend, a game I wanted to attend. I’m not entirely positive whether or not he got reps solely because of the score, either way, I liked what I saw from a young man I will be seeing this weekend against Conwell-Egan.
