One of the more underrated PCL prospects, regardless of position or class. One of the better performers at our most recent PRZ camp, I came away proud seeing Spinelli step up against some elite WR talent at our event. His performance left a lasting impression on me. This is meaningful considering I already thought highly of Spinelli beforehand. I’ve had extensive looks at his game up close for what seems like years now. He proved to me that he deserves to be recruited in his current form.
5’11, 170 pounds. 3.6 GPA. All-Catholic Accolades to his name. Is a comfortable pass-catcher, an experienced one too, yet I’d label him a DB first. Two INTs last Fall, several PBUs, six scores to his name along with several tackles registered. Versatility is Spinelli’s calling card. Opposing game planners with ABR on schedule are going to have to expect pretty much anything and everything surrounding Spinelli. Can be trusted to align creatively on defense, yet he’s most comfortable with his eyes in the backfield. A fantastic DB who could very well lead the Raiders in receiving yards when the season’s over. A tough football player who only provides winning reps. Tougher than his build suggests, this reveals itself when coming down to support the run or set the edge, as well as when he finishes runs after the catch. If I were a betting man, I’d bet that Spinelli’s ranking further elevates after this Fall season is over.
