Linsly TE David Popper could end up being one of the more interesting under-the-radar evaluations at the WV Exposure Series. Linsly primarily used him as a blocker last season, but there were enough flashes on tape as a receiving threat to create real curiosity about what he can do in a camp setting. This event should provide a much better opportunity to evaluate Popper as a pass catcher and see how comfortable he looks running routes and working in space. There’s some untapped upside there that hasn’t fully been showcased yet on Friday nights, and if Popper takes advantage of the extra opportunities during drills and 1-on-1s, he could leave camp as a much more recognizable name in the 2028 class.

The European import was primarily used as a blocker in 2025 but showed upside in his limited opportunities as a pass catcher. Popper is a strong young athlete who opened running lanes and has the athleticism to get out in space to block.
